Addictive Aoshima Ramen in Akihabara!

In the old days, I think Jangara, a pork bone ramen, was famous. Currently, there is a store inside JR Akihabara Station. There are a variety of ramen shops, from chain stores to individual stores. Among them, the one I'm addicted to (and eat the most) is Aoshima Ramen. The main store, Aoshima Shokudo, is located in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture. I've never been there because it's far away. I would like to introduce Aoshima Ramen in Akihabara. I hope this will be helpful to anyone who is thinking of going to Aoshima Ramen for the first time.

Taste

Ginger soy sauce ramen. Even regular ramen comes with chashu, green onions, naruto, menma, spinach, and seaweed. They can be increased for an additional fee. Char siu is popular. The char siu noodles are 900 yen (as of October 2023) and have good cost performance. Toppings can be added in increments of 50 yen. I add 50 yen each to the char siu noodles and add char siu and spinach for just 1,000 yen. Also, draft beer goes well with ramen. If you order a beer, you'll receive a small amount of chashu and menma as snacks, which is a good deal. It's a great moment to drink ice-cold draft beer and slurp warm ramen while watching office workers eating on the way to work (lol).

Place

The park is located just straight along the Sobu Line overpass from the Showa-dori ticket gate of JR Akihabara Station. By the way, this park is called Sakuma Park, and it is said to be the birthplace of ``radio calisthenics,'' which most Japanese people know. There is a store at the crossroads at the corner of the park. The shutters are down except for the entrance, making it difficult to see. There is a blue sign.

System from ordering to eating

I think there is a line almost from the time they open until they close. If there is a line, line up behind it. The turnover of customers is surprisingly fast, so I think you can get in quickly considering the line. Those who have finished eating inside the restaurant will leave the restaurant, and those waiting inside will be guided to their seats. After that, I go into the store. There is a ticket vending machine as soon as you enter. Buy your meal ticket there.

After purchasing a meal ticket, sit on the bench next to the people waiting in the store. (If there is no line, sit in the seat that the staff has instructed you to take.) When the shop owner asks you to show your meal ticket, remain seated and show the shop owner your ticket. The owner then prepares the food. When people finish eating and leave, the staff will clear away their dishes. The staff will then ask the person at the front of the line to take a seat. Then, follow the example of the person in front of you and sit down to the side. The back of the bench is the first. When it is your turn to take a seat, place your ticket on the counter so that the owner can see it. Now all you have to do is wait for your ramen to arrive. When you finish eating, leave the store immediately.
The electronics store district is on the opposite side and is far from the station, so it's difficult to go there while sightseeing. It's a bit of a hurdle, but if you're interested, please give it a try.
