When you are on a train for a long time, you may get hungry and want to eat quickly.
When I transfer at JR Akihabara Station, I usually eat inside the station. Curry, soba, ramen, etc. I would like to introduce the stores that I often use.
Kyushu Jangara Ramen
It is located on the 1st floor of the station, on the right hand side when looking directly at the Electric Town ticket gate from inside the station.
This is a tonkotsu ramen shop. There is ``Jangara'', a mild Tokyo tonkotsu, and ``Bonshan'', a Hakata tonkotsu. If you run out of noodles, you can use Kaedama to replace the noodles!
When you enter the store, there is a ticket vending machine on your left. It's a counter, but you can sit and eat.
Oyaji-no-Seimensho
It's located inside the Tokyo Food Bar (food court) next to Kyushu Jangara Ramen on the 1st floor of the station.
This is a Sanuki udon restaurant. You can enjoy firm udon noodles with cold or hot soup. You can add tempura.
When you enter the food court, it is the store in the middle of the row on the left.
Place your order with the clerk at the order counter. You put the tempura on your own plate and pay at the register along with the udon.
There are table seats in the food court. It is recommended because you can relax even after you finish eating.
Sobaichi
It's located to the right of Oyaji-no-Seimensho.
This is a soba restaurant. I often eat a set of warm soba, cold soba (mori soba), and rice.
Buy a meal ticket from the ticket vending machine and hand it to the staff.
Spice Factory Akihabara
It's located to the left of Oyaji-no-Seimensho.
This is a Japanese-style curry restaurant. After all, it’s loin cutlet curry!
Order on the large vertical touch panel display. Wait until your number is called.
Shin-Tagoto
Shin-Tagoto
It is located on the 3rd floor, platform 6 (Sobu Line/Chiba direction). It is near the stairs leading down to platforms 3 and 4 (Yamanote Line, Keihin Tohoku Line, Tokyo direction). When going from platform 5, go down to the 2nd floor and then go to platform 6.
This is a soba restaurant. The purpose of going to this restaurant is the steak curry! Tender and juicy meat. You can eat at a cheap price on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, and the cost performance is the best!
Buy a meal ticket from the ticket vending machine and hand it to the staff. There is a counter, but you can sit and eat.
There are other restaurants where you can eat. This is a restaurant I often go to, so I tend to focus on ramen, soba, and curry, but I think the other restaurants are also delicious! You can easily taste and compare various menus on the premises, so please give it a try!
